• Large full-color packet of Tromboncino Rampicante Squash (Cucurbita moschata 'Tromboncino') seeds. Delightful summer squash with a unique long neck and bulbous end. Sweeter than most other summer squash or zucchinis. Can be left to mature on the plant for a butternut type of winter squash. Grows on a vining plant rather than a bush. Minimum of 5 g per packet (about 40 seeds).
• Productive - Squash germinates in 10-14 days when soil temps are 65-75°F. Plant 1” deep and space 24-36” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 3-4’ long. Fruits will mature in 60-80 days, plant in USDA zones 3-11.
• Good Eats - Fresh summer squash is delicious sauteed in butter with a little garlic. It is also a wonderful addition to Italian lasagna, Asian stir fries, Middle Eastern curry, sweet breads and even pancakes. So many ways to use this versatile vegetable.
