Tomatillos have a tangy flavor that is a highly prized in Mexican cooking. These tasty little fruits are the base for salsa verde. Minimum of 100 mg per packet (about 70 seeds).
• Productive - Tomatillo germinates in 5-10 days when soil temps are 70-80°F. Plant 1/4” deep and space 2-3’ apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 3-4’ tall with a spread of 3-4’. Fruits will mature in 60-70 days, plant in USDA zones 5-12.
• Good Eats - The sweet fruity flavor of these classic tomatillos is highly prized in Mexican cooking. These tasty little fruits are the base for salsa verde or chili verde. Rich in antioxidants.
