About This

  • Beautiful - Large full-color packet of Clemson Spineless Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) seeds. AAS winning okra that grows tender, spineless green pods on 5 feet tall plants. Pods can reach 6-9" long, but are most tender and delicious when harvested at 3". Delicious to eat, whether fried, in gumbo, or pickled. 60 days. Minimum of 3 g (about 60 seeds).
  • Productive - Okra germinates in 7-15 days when soil temps are 70-80°F. Plant 3/4” deep and space 12” apart in an area with full sunlight. This variety will grow 4’ tall with a spread of 18-24”. Pods will mature 50-60 days, plant in USDA zones 4-12.
  • Good Eats - Okra is delicious for eating by itself fried or oven roasted. But it's a critical ingredient for cajun dishes like gumbo or jambalaya; and many Indian foods. This fast growing vegetable will amaze your children as they watch it grow taller. Beautiful yellow flowers lead to large and tasty pods.
  • Easy to Grow - Instructions included on each packet. Plus, we are available to answer all your questions. If these seeds don’t germinate, we will happily make it right for you.
  • Safe and Sustainable - Our operation is fully solar powered, and Sow Right Seeds has taken the Safe Seed Pledge to sell only fresh Non-GMO heirloom seeds for you and your family.
